Introducing The Sims FreePlay!!!

Been playing this game for a while now. Though this is an introductory post for Sims FreePlay, the game has been around for a long time now (not sure when it started though :P).

Let's begin with the "new game" screen. For starters, this game requires an internet connection for you to play. As of course, if you got no data, you can just start a new game or if you're already an old player of this game and got a saved game (obviously), you can just download your saved data to your device. In case you're wondering or not aware of it, you can play the same "town" on various devices. Your game data can be uploaded to "The Cloud" through your Facebook account and/or Game Center (for Apple users).

Just like any other Sims gameplay, you will manage a "town" consisting of different "sims" for you to handle.

First off, you're going to create your very own First Sim. The features that you can customize are the name, gender, skin tone, hair, face, clothes, and shoes.

As of course, you will also be given a full control for camera angles and magnification.

Just like any other Sims, you'll be tasked to take care of your sims. Beginning from upper left, here are your sims needs: food, toilet, sleep, cleanliness, social, and entertainment.

If you're too lazy to satisfy each and everyone of them, just feel free to use a "cupcake" to fill them all up. Though of course it's not free. You'll need 5 LP (lifestyle points) for each cupcake consumption. Lifestyle Points is the "premium" currency being used in the game.

Since I already mentioned the LP, the following are all the currencies being used in the game:

・Simoleons (green) - this is the default currency being used in all The Sims series, including this version. It can be earned by doing quests, getting a job, going to school, having pets, joining competitions, and purchasing some from the EA Store (of course, using real money). Since it is the primary currency of the game, majority of the items to satisfy your Sim's needs and managing your town are being paid using Simoleons. In short, your town will die (not really) if you don't have enough Simoleons at hand.

・Lifestyle Points / LP (orange) - just like what I told you earlier, this is the premium currency being used in Sims FreePlay (not sure if it is also being used on other versions though). These can be earned primarily by doing quests and being bought through the EA Store but likewise it can also be earned by joining competitions and having your pets finding you some. Since this is just a premium currency, you can live off without much thought of having enough LPs. Though yes, some of the "better" items can only be bought through LP, it can also help you hasten your town's development. Well, unlike the computer version of The Sims series where you can control the game's time speed, in FreePlay, all actions are using the actual time in real life. Thus, if it says, 1 hour to finish, it's really 1 hour in real life. Many are quite frustrated for this, so yeah, you can use LPs to instantaneously finish off everything.

・Social Points / SP (purple) - this is another premium currency being used in the game. The same with LP, you can live off without having much of any SP at all. The only use of this currency if purchasing some of the items being used in the game. You can only gather SP by doing quests in a neighbor's town and buying some from the EA Store. Yes. You'll need to connect your Facebook account for this, else, you won't have any neighbors at all (except for the default "Another Sim Town", which won't give you the needed items to finish many of the neighbor's town quests.

For you to visit a neighbor's town, just go to the Party Boat (it's in the town screen) and connect your Facebook account. From there, you know what to do. :)

I already mentioned earlier about some "quests" to finish, right? Well, unlike the computer version of the game where you'll need "expansion packs" to widen your gaming experience, in FreePlay, you'll need to accomplish the quests for you to access them, like weddings, having a baby, growing teenagers, etc. Simply put, these are just "tasks" that you need to do. But be sure to finish them on time so that you can gain access to bonus items for your Sims to enjoy. :)

And for you to manage all your Sims, you can monitor and select them through the SimTracker.

And of course, the enjoyment of designing your very own dream home for each of your Sims are at your disposal. :)

Well, that's pretty much it. I'll see what I can do in updating posts regarding Sims FreePlay. So yeah. No promises. ( ̄▽ ̄)

iPad Virtual Pet: MyBoo

Way back when I was a kid, there was this game that got popular called "Tamagochi". It's a little virtual pet that you have to take care of. It also acts like a somewhat real pet as well. If you won't take care of it, it'll leave you or either die. :(

Anyways, I was kinda missing having a virtual pet so I searched the App Store for something similar to it. Found a couple, but I was not satisfied. Until, I stumble on "MyBoo".
It's a really fun game and not boring at all. Unlike the other virtual pet games that I encountered, the mini games are quite fun and a bit challenging as well. :)

For starters, this is what MyBoo looks like: (sorry was not able to get a picture at Lvl 01 :P)
Yeah, not that special looking. But hey! It still look cute. :)

Despite that simple and cute appearance, what I liked about it is that you can also dress it up :D
Guess what my own boo looks like :3
Looks kinda similar, huh? :P

Anyway, a little tour around MyBoo facility. :)

First off, here's the Laboratory where you can modify your boo's info and grab another boo if you like.
Then off course, your boo needs its own bedroom to rest and get change.
Once your boo gets hungry, time to run to the kitchen of course! And yup, you can choose what food you'd feed to your own boo.
And of course, your boo will get lonely if you won't play with it.
Don't worry. Like what I said earlier, the mini games are quite fun to play with. :) And yes, they offer various mini games to choose to.
After a rough game, don't let your boo to get all dirty alright?
I don't have that much moohlas yet, so yeah, sorry for the lowly house of my boo. Dx

Don't worry, yours don't have to be that empty. You can always customize each room according to your taste and cash. :P
Oh hey! Look who came to visit? :P
My boo looks familiar? Really? I didn't notice. :3

Neh~ Who am I kidding? Yeah, you're right. It's "them" alright. I won't deny. >:P

Gaaaaah~ I think something's wrong with me? -_-
Neh? Really Maki-sama??? :D

Arigatouuuu~~~!!! :D

I knew you would understand. :3

iPad "Posts" App

Okay, since it seems that our internet connection got some issues everytime I'm using my desktop computer. I somewhat look for an alternative way to blog just using the iPad mini. Well, it seems that blogging through iPad is a bit of a hassle. (-___-)

But still, I won't give up!

So then, I look for an applicable FREE app that can satisfy my needs. So then, I was able to locate these two apps namely the official Blogger apple app and the Posts apple app by Pico.

I was attracted first with the Posts app, but it seems I can't get pass through it. :(

That's when I tried the official Blogger app. But it seems it does not satisfy my needs. Just a bit disappointed with it. So I kinda just abandon it. Here's a quick preview on how the Blogger app looks like.

Still a bit desperate on grabbing the Posts app, especially after reading some reviews on it, I was kinda like "what am I suppose to do with you for you to work!!!" reaction. I even came to the point of sending a support e-mail to the app developer Pico. But to no avail, I receive no reply. (T_T) Even tried googling it as to how I can solve such an issue. Throughout, I only found ONE comment that kinda experiencing what I'm having (am I really that unfortunate??? Dx). To top that, there was no solution given on that ONE and only comment that is experiencing the same issue I got. So then, I give up!!! Gah! Dx

Until just today, when I was typing my previous post, I found this notice from Google through my YouTube page that there was an unfamiliar activity going on in my account!!! (Nooooo!) So then, I rush on checking it out. Thus, I landed on the recent activity page of my account and I found these!!!

Then I remembered trying to log-on using the Posts app (again). So I figured, maybe, this is the culprit as to why I was not able to properly login through the Posts app. Made some configuration, and voila!!! :D It's working!!! :D

So for those that is currently having the same dilemma, here's a quick fix to your problem. :) Just a bit of a disclaimer, whatever happens to your account is not my responsibility. Do it at your own discretion.

  1. Go to your Google account settings.
    1. Go to http://www.google.com/
    2. Sign in to your account
    3. Click your username icon (A), then click the "Account" link (B)
  2. Go to the Security tab (C) and click the Settings (D) for "Access for less secure apps"
  3. Enable (E) it and click Done (F)
  4. Now access your blogspot account through the Posts app.
  5. Enjoy your Posts app! :D

Welcome to the family Weary Princess!!!

Love Live! Was probably one of the animes that I watched because of reading doujins. Honestly I don't have any idea of this anime until recently (nearly the ending of Season 1). And I'm not much of a fan of "idol" animes, maybe cause of the too much girlyness (which I assumed) on such genre. But then again, I was wrong. At first I thought I wouldn't enjoy it, but, I kinda forced myself to move on since I really want to understand the real score on Maki x Nico shipping (yup, I also ship these two, and hooked with it xD). Until I also got hooked with the anime's main story as well.
Then, I just found out (and it was already too late Dx) that there's also a game based on this anime. Well, I guess I'm too much of a fangirl and hunted the game down. Yatta!!! It was a success!!! :D
Moving forward, it was too late for me and was not able to join Maki's birthday bash on this game. :(
Obviously, Maki's my favorite on this one. :)
So then, just would like to greet the ones that I captured... Belated Happy Birthday Nico-chan and Honoka-chan! :)
And now, with the current event... :3
Among the μ's members, the first on my list is Maki-chan followed by Eri-chi. Thus, I'm a bit excited with the current event "Weary Princess" (⌒-⌒)
During events, I only play 25LP games to maximize the event points during the entire event. As of the moment, the only 25LP song is [Kokuhau Biyorim desu!].
Well, at least i still got a mission on this song. But my dilemma would be, how can I achieve it if all of my girls are already Maxed Lvl and it still wont reach the S Level score. (/ _ ; )
And because of sheer excitement (and drowsiness) to grab that Eri-chi SR, I accidentally picked the wrong team to play for the event song. (; ̄ェ ̄)of course leading to a lower score and lower event points.
It's a good thing though that I only need a little more EXP and it's level up! ( ´ ▽ ` )ノ
Which means free LP refill! ψ(`∇´)ψ
Yatta!!! And now, I would like to welcome the Weary Princess to the family!
